Dr. Karim Keshavjee, CEO of InfoClin, recently presented the latest research on data quality in electronic medical records.  The presentation covered the problems physicians face when using electronic medical records for chronic disease and prevention management (CDPM) and the underlying reasons for those problems.  The presentation covers some key principles of data discipline, data cleaning and data standardization in primary care.  The presentation concludes with design recommendations for the next generation of electronic medical record systems.
